The Wounded Warrior Amputee football team will take on a collection of Green Bay Packers alumni in a charity flag football game at St. Norbert College’s Schneider Stadium at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10.
The Wounded Warrior Amputee team is comprised of men and women who lost a limb in Iraq or Afghanistan in service to their country. They will challenge a team of Packers alumni including Jerry Kramer, Dave Robinson, Don Beebe, Ahman Green, Chris Jacke, Bill Schroeder, Harry Sydney and Randy Wright.
Tickets are $10 for adults, with kids 12 and under getting in free. Tickets are available at the door orcan be purchased in advance at Cold Stone Creamery, 2101 S. Oneida St., just a few blocks south of Lambeau Field.
There will be a free photo and autograph opportunity for all ticket-holders, and the grand prize of a raffle will be a trip for two to the Packers-49ers game in San Francisco on Sept. 8, the 2013 season opener.
