Vince Young was the Packers’ starter at quarterback and played most of the game. He completed 14 of 30 passes for 144 yards. The Packers were unable to establish a rushing threat.

The Chiefs took a 20-8 lead into the fourth quarter, then added a 48-yard field goal by Ryan Succop and a 9-yard touchdown pass from rookie quarterback Tyler Bray to rookie wide receiver Frankie Hammond. Bray was the star of the game, throwing for 169 yards and three touchdowns. Chiefs reserve running back Cyrus Gray ran for 72 yards.
