Trailing 14-0 entering the period, the Browns cut the deficit to 14-3 on a 46-yard FG by Billy Cundiff with 5:11 left in the half.

A 15-yard personal foul on CB Tramon Williams and a 15-yard pass on third down to TE Jordan Cameron got the Browns moving. They got inside the Green Bay 30-yard line before a sack by DE Mike Daniels created a third-and-18. Browns QB Brandon Weeden scrambled for 11 yards to get close enough for the field goal.

The Packers answered with a scoring drive that killed the remaining time left in the half. K Mason Crosby made a 26-yard field goal with just 3 seconds left on the clock.

A 6-yard pass to WR Jordy Nelson and a 4-yard run by RB Johnathan Franklin converted a pair of third downs and gave the Packers a first-and-goal on the 10.
