What do the Packers do now?
The first thing they have to do is protect Scott Tolzien because the Packers are out of quarterbacks.
Kristen from Kenosha, WI
Who is the emergency QB for the Packers?
I believe it’s Jordy Nelson.
Christopher from Echo Park, CA
Vic, do I have your permission to panic?
Sure, enjoy yourself.
Blair from Adrian, MI
Vic, is this real life?
Yes, this is real life, and I’ll tell you how real it is: The Eagles are the Packers’ wild-card competition. That means this game is for the head-to-head tiebreaker. Forget about what’s happening in Chicago. This is as real as it gets. This game could be for the playoffs.
Ken from West St Paul, MN
Last in the league in interceptions notwithstanding, is there shame in simply batting the ball down?
The deflected pass was a fluke; those things happen. What’s bothering me right now is that the Packers defense hasn’t been able to stop LeSean McCoy. He’s averaging 6.1 yards per carry as I’m writing this.
Paul from De Pere, WI
How ultra-conservative will Mike McCarthy be now?
Third-and-three from the Eagles 5-yard line: Run it? That’s not Packers football but you have to do what you have to do.
Kevin from Chicago, IL
Vic, how much of Tolzien have you seen? From what you’ve seen, what do you like?
This is my first look at him. He’s got a good arm and he knows where to go with the ball. What I don’t like is that he’s staring down his receivers. Young quarterbacks do that.
