What’s your favorite Wisconsin food and where do you go to get your fix during the season?
Randall Cobb: Plae Bistro, it’s my favorite place to eat.
Jordy Nelson: My favorite restaurant is Rustique.
Josh Sitton: Anything at Hinterland, it’s a great spot; their cheese curds are really good.
John Kuhn: I love the brats here in WI, especially when you can grill them yourself.
Tim Masthay: The seafood from the great lakes is amazing. We don’t have too much of that down where I’m from.
Here is more on food in Wisconsin, provided by Travel Wisconsin:
Sheboygan is known as the Bratwurst Capital of America, but bratwurst is ubiquitous all over Wisconsin. Around 1860, German immigrants came to the Sheboygan area, a port city with easy access to dense hardwood forests, and they brought their favorite sausage with them. Johnsonville Foods, located in Sheboygan, is one of the largest sausage producers in the United States. Johnsonville is the largest sausage brand by revenue in the United States, and its bratwursts enjoy a prominent presence in 16 NFL stadiums – including our own Lambeau Field!
