GREEN BAY–Packers Coach Mike McCarthy sounded hopeful on Thursday when he answered questions regarding Aaron Rodgers’ attempt to play this Sunday.
“Aaron Rodgers practiced well today. We’ll have a conversation tomorrow. He’s still not medically cleared. He looked very good at practice. We’ll make sure we get Matt (Flynn) ready to play. Matt took the majority of the snaps. I’ll have an announcement tomorrow,” McCarthy said.
McCarthy confirmed that Johnny Jolly suffered a significant injury (shoulder and neck). He has been ruled out for Sunday’s game.
