GREEN BAY–Clay Matthews was listed as probable on Friday to play in Sunday’s game in Chicago.
“So far so good. The medical review today was good,” Coach Mike McCarthy said of his star linebacker. Matthews had been limited through practice this week with a groin injury he sustained in the second half of last Sunday’s game in Detroit.
Also probable are Davon House (knee), Bryan Bulaga (knee) and Nick Perry (wrist). Questionable are Jarrett Boykin (knee and groin) and Brad Jones (quad).
“We have to get first downs and create opportunities for all of the guys,” McCarthy said of his offense’s task on Sunday, following a 19-7 loss to the Lions in which the Packers were shut out in the second half. “We’re focused on improving as a team and I thought our guys did a good job of it yesterday (in practice).”
