Wisconsin Favorites: Dessert places
Posted by on January 6, 2015 – 11:42 amIt’s the weekend and you have a sweet tooth. Where do you go and what do you get?
No. 61 Brett Goode – Cheesecake Heaven for coffee and pie.
No. 87 Jordy Nelson – Brain Freeze in Howard, and I like all their ice cream.
No. 84 Jared Abbrederis – I like Culver’s; that’s my ice cream spot. I like their custard. I usually get the Raspberry Snickers Concrete Mixer.
If you have a craving for a sweet treat, Wisconsin is the place to satisfy your sweet tooth. Wisconsin is home to numerous creameries, custard stands, ice cream parlors, dairy shops and drive-ins where you can lick, taste and scoop your favorite flavors. From cakes to cookies to ice cream to pastries, Brain Freeze in Howard is your one-stop-shop for your sweet craving. For a dairy good time, stop by Babcock Hall Dairy Store located on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. The Babcock Hall Dairy Store is best known for the tasty varieties of ice cream flavors (some with silly names!), but don’t miss your opportunity to purchase the award-winning cheeses also sold at the store. Grab a scoop of Fantastic Jurassic or Badger Blast while you peruse their wide selection of cheeses sold in a bag for you to eat on the spot or packaged and ready for you to give away as a gift.
