GREEN BAY — The Packers have added RB Eddie Lacy to the injury report with a knee injury and he was limited in practice on Thursday.
Head Coach Mike McCarthy did not seem to have any concern about Lacy’s availability for Sunday’s NFC title game, however.
“Eddie Lacy’s knee is sore. I pulled him in about the middle of practice,” McCarthy said. “I think Eddie will be ready to go on Sunday. The coach is nervous.”
QB Aaron Rodgers (calf) remained a limited participant in practice, as expected. Thursday’s practice was in pads, just as last week’s Thursday workout was.
“Aaron Rodgers participated in the second part of practice, went through pass under pressure and went through two team periods,” McCarthy said. “He’s getting ready to play.”
The Packers are also getting ready to travel to Seattle on Friday, one day earlier than normal for a road trip. The team will practice at an indoor facility to be determined on Saturday.
McCarthy said a few things from that Saturday practice were moved to Thursday because he didn’t think the team would be able to do them on the road.
“It’ll be as close as we can get to a normal Saturday practice,” McCarthy said.
Packers.com will have more following locker room interviews.
