Former halfback Johnny Papit, one of the oldest living Packers, died earlier this week. He was 86.
Papit played in just four games for the Packers in 1953, rushing six times for 44 yards and a TD.
A Philadelphia native and a college star at the University of Virginia, Papit was originally a seventh-round draft choice of the Washington Redskins in 1951. Over parts of three seasons with the Redskins, Papit had 89 rushing attempts for 335 yards, plus seven receptions for 123 yards and a TD.
