News now! Packers turn to big guy with sixth-round pick
Posted by on May 2, 2015 – 3:55 pmGREEN BAY–The Packers finally drafted a big guy with the selection of Louisiana-Lafayette defensive lineman Christian Ringo with the 210th overall pick, the second of three sixth-round picks for the Packers.
Ringo, 6-1, 277, had 20 tackles for loss last season. He’s regarded as a high-effort defender and recorded at least one sack in five games last year.
He would likely play defensive end in the Packers’ 3-4 defense.
