GREEN BAY — Fans were the order of the day, as Packers fans fanned themselves furiously to cope with what might be the warmest temperatures of training camp. Meanwhile, the Packers focused on special teams drills in Saturday’s practice at Ray Nitschke Field.
Practice began with a red zone walk-through drill, and Eddie Lacy spent time catching “hot” passes along the sideline. The Packers stalled in the red zone in New England on Thursday night, and Lacy wasn’t able to catch a “hot” pass from Aaron Rodgers on a fourth-down play from the 2-yard line.
The team part of practice was highlighted early by a Micah Hyde interception and a Matt Blanchard to Rajion Neal long touchdown pass.
Left tackle David Bakhtiari and defensive lineman Josh Boyd did not practice. They are likely late additions to the injury report from Thursday night.
