Vic, I know this is the last game of preseason and it’s all about evaluation, but the Packers can’t be this bad. Can they?
You’re right. It’s the last game of preseason and it’s all about evaluation.

Vic, so far I’m watching a very unimpressive game from all three areas, offense, defense and special teams. What do you believe needs to happen in this game to ensure this team is ready for the regular season?
It’s ready. If it wasn’t, the starters wouldn’t be taking the night off.

It looks like too many Packers players don’t care if they have a job in the NFL. I expect more from guys fighting for their jobs than I have seen so far.
Rajion Neal is fighting for a job, and I think he’s got a lock on one.
Aaron from Point Pleasant, MD
Vic, it just dawned on me: When I sit back, relax and watch the Packers play, you’re at work.
That’s right. And when you turn off the TV and celebrate a win, I begin writing about that win so you can enjoy it again.

Vic, it seems the Packers are playing a lot of man coverage? Is Capers using the preseason to find out which DB can play man to man?
The Packers in general are using the preseason to evaluate personnel, and there’s no better evaluation scheme than man to man.

You were against Clay being utilized more inside because he would get worn out simply eating blocks. Now it sounds like you’re for the move inside. I appreciate your thinking can still change and grow. What brought about this change of thought?

I like the grit Abbrederis showed returning a punt that should be fair caught any other time. Harris playing running back with a club on his hand. It’s do or die time for many of these guys. Great drama.
It’s the most important game of their lives.
