News now! Packers improved; turnovers loom large for Sunday

“We’re getting better. Richard Rodgers really jumped out. The second half, our front guys did a good job keeping us in run and pass mix. We definitely improved,” the Packers head coach said on Friday.
The prospects for rookie wide receiver Ty Montgomery to play on Sunday for the first time since sustaining an ankle injury in October?
“He’s looking much better. It’s good to have him out there,” McCarthy said.
Eddie Lacy?
“He’s had two good days of practice,” the coach added.
Rain is in the forecast for Sunday’s game against the Cowboys. The Packers lost in the rain on Thanksgiving night.
“We were minus two. That says a lot. Turnover ratio will be a big factor in this game,” McCarthy said.
